Cookie policy

Last updated: 2026-05-14 · Plain-language summary of how we use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. For broader data practices, see the privacy policy.

What we store today

HandTherapy.app is local-first. Symptom logs, exercise sessions, and personalization choices are stored in your browser via localStorage and IndexedDB. They are not uploaded unless you explicitly opt in to a cloud or export feature.

Cookies we use

  • Essential: small cookies required to keep the site working (e.g. session continuity for the waitlist form).
  • Preference: remembering UI settings such as Learn library display, hand preview mode, or narration toggle.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party marketing pixels.

Third parties

This site loads Inter from Google Fonts over the network (see fonts.googleapis.com in the page head). That request may send standard browser metadata; we do not add advertising pixels. We do not share personal information with advertisers. Future analytics integrations (if any) will be privacy-respecting and clearly disclosed before launch.

Managing cookies and local data

You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Doing so will remove your local symptom history and personalization. You can also use Settings → Local data for a guided reset of app data stored in this browser. Use the in-app export tools first if you want to keep a copy.

Changes

We will update this page when we add new technologies. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
